Yes — customers need a crypto wallet like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet holding the token they want to pay with. The Thentic Pay payment page guides them through the process step by step.
Thentic Pay sends a webhook to your WooCommerce store the moment payment is confirmed on-chain. The order status automatically changes from Pending to Processing — exactly the same as any other payment method. WooCommerce then sends the customer a confirmation email.
Yes. The plugin automatically fetches live exchange rates and converts the order total to USD before creating the crypto payment request. The customer pays the correct equivalent amount in their chosen token regardless of your store currency.
WooCommerce 5.0 and above, PHP 7.4+, WordPress 5.8+. Both the classic checkout and the new block-based checkout are fully supported with zero compatibility warnings.
Yes. In the plugin settings under "Supported Chains & Tokens" you can enable or disable individual chains and tokens. Customers will only see the options you've enabled at checkout.
Never. Payments go directly from the customer's wallet to your wallet address on-chain. Thentic Pay only provides the payment page and infrastructure — we have zero custody over your funds at any point.
